The Client

The Plough Scalby is the latest addition to the HQ Collection of hospitality businesses, which are part of the Qdos Entertainment Group.

The Plough is a country pub/restaurant and it offers 8 elegant and luxurious en-suite bedrooms. This characterful and prominent building has been fully refurbished to an extremely high standard and every effort has been taken to combine charm with luxury and comfort. Following in the footsteps of a number of other hospitality venues in the area, the new owners of The Plough have had a clear ambition and determination to make their new acquisition a jewel in their collection of businesses.

The Problem

The website provides lots of information about the local area, what to do, places to see.

The engine behind the business is without doubt professional and the marketing approach taking is considered, multi directional and proactive, consequently the website is has two very important functions, the first is that it needs to provide the engine room with all the tools that they need to market their business and the second and equally important is that it needs to provide the user with everything that they need to encourage them to engage.

The Solution

The success of Plough website project can be attributed to the amalgamation of many well-defined graphic, web and marketing skill sets.

The participants in the project have all been selected because of their talent and the finished product is a testimony to the talent pool that exists in our small seaside town. The website is well structured, flowing, informative and captivating even; it benefits from a great deal of contemporary web practices and it is a credit to all who have been involved with it.
